Oklahoma Teaching Artist Roster

I'm happy to announce that now I am part of the Oklahoma Teaching Artist roster, a list vetted by the Oklahoma Arts Council of qualified artists available to schools and organizations for arts education programs.

After submitting my application and documentation to support my experience in my field, I attended a panel interview where I responded many questions about my approach to arts education and my expertise in creative writing and visiting schools. When it comes to my visits and presentations, I like to think of them as performances more than "book readings" since I use my theater background to bring stories to life and make it interactive. I look forward to the opportunity to reach out to more schools and children from the state of Oklahoma and beyond!
